Yeti 105 vs 110 – What’s the difference?

The main difference between the Yeti 105 vs 110 is the Yeti 105 features a taller design, making it easier to carry. If you’re trying to carry the 110 by yourself, you better get yourself some longer arms! The 105 is just more manageable, even though it’s only a few pounds lighter than the 110 cooler.

The Yeti 110 will hold up to 74 cans of beer or around 90 pounds of ice, and the Yeti 105 will hold 62 cans of beer and around 82 pounds of ice. So, you will be sacrificing a bit in the area of capacity, but not that much, honestly.

In fact, unless you need this cooler for a fishing boat and you never plan to move it from the damn boat, we’d actually go with an even smaller Yeti. Something like the 65 or 75, but that’s just us. Your back with likely thank you for your choices on getting the smaller one.

However, bigger form factor coolers like the 110 or even the 160 are great for fishing boats. This is especially true if you’ll be doing a charter where you’re out all day with clients. Just make sure you’ve got an able-bodied employee to help you lift the thing and avoid a hernia.
