Trijicon SRO vs DeltaPoint Pro – Which Is Better?

Choosing a gun sight among the hundreds of options available on the market is never an easy task. However, it can be easy if someone narrows down the best ones for you.

This is why we are here with another comparison between Trijicon SRO and DeltaPoint Pro gun sights. We will discuss everything about these gun sights, including their features, pros, cons, and what consumers think about them.

Key differences between Trijicon SRO vs DeltaPoint Pro

If you ask anyone their opinion on the DeltaPoint Pro vs The Trijicon SRO.. you’re going to get people telling you that either sight is the best. That’s because this is largely based on personal preferences and usage.

However, the truth is, these sights are very similar performance wise, so if you wanted to save some money going with the DeltaPoint Pro, it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

Most people who prefer the DeltaPoint Pro enjoy the larger window, which gives a better field of view when compared to a Trijicon sight, and of course, the lower price point of the DeltaPoint Pro Sight. It also has a battery saving auto shut off feature, which the Trijicon SRO seems to be lacking.

Both sights offer a top opening battery compartment (the Trijicon RMR does not) making it easy to swap batteries. The DeltaPoint Pro offers a 2.5 or 7.5 MOA sight, but the Trijicon SRO offers 3 different MOA models to choose from – 1, 2.5, or 5 MOA.

However, many reviewers feel that the overall quality of the Trijicon sights is better. This is particularly true when it comes to quality control. While DeltaPoint will make it right for you, it’s still annoying if you have to send back a bad one.

In short, the DeltaPoint Pro offers some great features at an even better price point, and we think it’s worth the gamble. Trijicon SRO and Leupold DeltaPoint have been great competitors because of the similarities in their functions and the differences they have regarding the prices and some features.  The choice solely depends your preferences though, because they are honestly both great products.

From our point of view, both sights are pretty good. However, the Trijicon SRO wins when it comes to battery life and maintenance (it is almost maintenance-free). On the other hand, DeltaPoint wins the race of pricing. DeltaPoint Pro costs way less than the Trijicon SRO, featuring nearly all the features of Trijicon.

If it is up to us, we will go for a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro. There is no harm in saying that it is an incredible sight that also fits into budget gun set-ups.
